Son objectif principal a \u00e9t\u00e9 de coordonner les actions de ses membres face aux d\u00e9fis s\u00e9curitaires qui affectent la r\u00e9gion, tout en int\u00e9grant des dimensions li\u00e9es au d\u00e9veloppement et \u00e0 la gouvernance. Apr\u00e8s le retrait du Mali, du Niger et du Burkina Faso, l\u2019article 20 de son texte fondateur a conduit \u00e0 sa
